Track 1: Homeopathy

Homeopathy is an alternative medical practice in which extremely dilute amounts of certain natural substances are used to treat various ailments. It is practiced since a hundred of years and advancing day by day.

Track 2: Herbal Medicine

Herbal medicine is the study of the botany and use of medicinal plants. These are widely practiced and used as supplements for improving health life.

Track 3: Arabic Medicine or Unani

Unani medicine was practiced in Mughal India, South Asia and Central Asia in terms of Perso-Arabic traditional medicine. The term “Yunani” is derived from the Greek word based on the teachings of Greek physicians. Unani medicine depends on diagnosis of the disease. During the diagnosis, the signs, symptoms, laboratory features and mizaj (temperament) are need to be followed. Frequently used Unani medicine is for the weight loss and diabetic treatment which are the major problems faced by people.

They are derived from plants and may contain one or more active ingredients. Plant crude drugs have numerous classes of active components, like primary metabolites—proteins, carbohydrates and fats—and secondary metabolites—alkaloids, glycosides and among others. 

Track 15: Aromatic Medicine and Message Therapy

It is another form of complementary and alternative medicine. It helps in improving physiological and psychological wellbeing of an individual. There are different types of message therapy which help in integration of body and mind.

Track 16: Ethno Pharmacology

Ethnopharmacology is the study of different medicinal plants products and it focuses on the use of traditional medicine in local communities and commercial applications. This is based on the combination of chemical, biological, and pharmacological sciences which are useful for discovery of drug. This branch deals with the pharmacological and clinical studies of chemically profiled extracts, and studies on the quality and composition of several other issues like biological screening and naturally derived products research.

Track 17: Advantages and disadvantages of Natural Medicines

There is this growing trend toward the specialization in medicine and it has led to advancements on treatment. It draws emphasis on whole-body care and thus deals with personal attention. The focus is also towards the prevention.

Track 20: Advanced Pharmaceutical Techniques

Pharmaceutical analytical techniques deal with the different processes to identify or quantify a substance. The components of a pharmaceutical solution are used in the formulation of pharmaceutical products. This is advancing day by day.
