Arabic Medicine or Unani

Unani medicine was practiced in Mughal India, South Asia and Central Asia in terms of Perso-Arabic traditional medicine. The term “Yunani” is derived from the Greek word based on the teachings of Greek physicians. Unani medicine depends on diagnosis of the disease. During the diagnosis, the signs, symptoms, laboratory features and mizaj (temperament) are need to be followed. Frequently used Unani medicine is for the weight loss and diabetic treatment which are the major problems faced by people.
